Ian and Biddy’s story is beautiful! The concern and care that Ian shows towards Biddy touches your heart. I am not someone who cries while reading books, but I Sarah Eden has a way of writing that makes you feel what the characters are feeling. I absolutely loved this book!

I think I liked the prequel better than the first two of the full length books in the series I’ve read so far. It was sweet and not drawn out since it is a novella yet I still felt like I knew the characters well enough and even though at least for Ian it was pretty much love at first site I didn’t feel like it was an insta-love romance. Plus I’m a little bit of a sucker for a hero that is shy and awkward.

I thought I had Biddy’s father’s situation figured out early on and I turned out to be so wrong! Nice to have a little surprise in there. My heart ached for Biddy and her loss of family. I felt relieved that she would have a family to love and love her.

    No sex, violence or language.
