About Rebecca Connolly

Rebecca Connolly

Rebecca Connolly writes romances, both period and contemporary, because she absolutely loves a good love story. She has been creating stories since childhood, and there are home videos to prove it! She started writing them down in elementary school and has never looked back. She currently lives in Ohio, spends every spare moment away from her day job absorbed in her writing, and is a hot cocoa addict.

Another fun installment in the Spinster series. These unlikable characters in previous books were very likable in this one. We got to see their true selves and in Hugh’s case his remorse over who he was. We were able to rejoice in who he had become. And we also got to see Elinor overcome her prejudices to become humble and forgiving. It was a fun read.

My only negative thought is that we didn’t get to spend any real time with the Spinsters since this story takes place out in the country and away from the other ladies. And I do love the Spinsters so that was disappointing. But this story couldn’t have taken place in any other way so it had to be as it was.

    Sex: some kisses
    Language: a little, mild
    Violence: no
