About Amberlee Day

Amberlee Day

Amberlee Day writes from her home deep in a Pacific Northwest forest. Unless she’s at the beach, then she writes there. Also in her minivan while waiting on children’s activities, or at the library when the house is too noisy, and occasionally in random corners during family reunions.

  1. The Halloween Mismatch was such a fun read that has you laughing, smiling, and wanting more. I loved how much back and forth there was in a great opposites attract kinda way. It took me just a few chapters to really get into the book, but once I did I couldn’t put it down. It really got me into an Autumn mood and now I just want to whip up a batch of chili and watch some cute fun Halloween movies.

I loved Theo’s humor, he had me giggling from the start when he first walked in to Cornucopia Inn. He kept me laughing throughout the whole book with his funny pranks and jokes. Brings me back to the old days with my friends, especially the grocery shopping scene. I think Theo has become my new favorite male character in the Harvest Ranch series. Daisy frustrated me so much throughout the book but at the same time, I get it and her perspective on things. It was fun to see the have to work together and compromise, even though neither wanted to.

It was fun to have more of a Halloween edge in a book added to the Harvest Ranch series. I love that these books have so much variety and each story is different. Author Amberlee Day did a wonderful and spooky fun job with this book and I enjoyed every minute of it. I can’t wait for the next in the series.
