Finished this yesterday. Even though this is more romance than I prefer, I really enjoyed it. I liked the way she wrapped up the series. More than once I was stopped in my tracks, saying WHAT THE HECK?!!? But imo, she did it. Gave us a satisfying ending.

It’s hard to explain without spoilers. Basically, I usually have a pretty good idea of where stories are going. This one surprised me big time in a couple of places—and each time, I wondered how she was going to resolve things without it being totally lame. But she did resolve it, without the lameness. IMHO.
This is one of my very favorite covers from 2008. Before reading the book I sat and stared at it, knowing it was telling me something about the story… but I was too impatient and rather than continue trying to guess I jumped in and read the book. Once finished, I realized that the reason for the cover art could be taken more than one way, and the meaning intended was different than what I thought at first although my guess still applied. That sounds vague, but I would rather not spoil the book for anyone! To understand the cover, read the book ;^)
