“Caleb is coming back,” Peter mumbled in a tone of complete defeat.
“Caleb?” Nathan asked in surprise. “Why would Caleb come back here? He is completely settled in Colorado, working for Uncle Adam.”
Peter weakly pulled the original letter from his pocket and handed it to his brother, allowing Nathan to read the brief script. His brows knit as he read it again, and then again. Finally, Nathan also sunk into the chair nearest him.
