Her best friend’s brother, a stubborn candymaker, stir with magic and find love.
Youngest, shortest, stubbornest, Josie Sulivan knows her place among the Covington cousins. She has chased after every dream she’s ever had, except one. Being the town’s best candymaker, takes a turn for the stormy when Josie accidentally stirs in some magic. Trying to figure out what to do with her new talent is hard enough without her best friend’s brother slipping in to the mix.

Adopting the role of protector as a child, Officer Greg Hastings watches over the town of Hathorn with the same care he did for his little sister. Ever since he rescued Josie as a child, he’s felt a need to help her. What he feels now is anything but brotherly. Trying to convince Josie of his love may take more than magic.

When her stubbornest leads Josie to lose her magical talent, will she lose Greg too?

  1. Maria

I’ve read a couple others of the Spellbound in Hawthorne series and I love the premise. The set up is great. And unique. There are some mystical-magical elements that make the story more fun. And I like the characters. I love these mystical cousins finding their gifts along with true love. Stir of Wind didn’t disappoint. It was a fun read. But the epilogue was a bit of a jolt.
Oh, and I learned a bit about diabetes. Looking forward to the next one.

    Sex: no
    Language: no
Violence: Forced kiss beyond desired, kidnapping, a little magical warfare
