First off, I’m in love with this cover. Second, I loved the book. It was exciting, mysterious, sad, hard, scary, creepy, and swoony all in one and of course, ends in a happy ever after. The meet cute was unique and I enjoyed both the main characters. The book dealt with difficult topics, like drug usage and prostitution, and those that ran the brothel were truly creepy, evil, horrible people. Reading about those elements was hard and my stomach felt some tightness as I worried about what was going to happen. But in opposition, the good people were really wonderful and caring. I loved all those characters. And it really was a very nice happily ever after ending. An enjoyable read.

    Sex: prostitution
    Language: no
Violence: murders, attempted murder, shoot out, sexual assault, forced prostitution…
*I received a complimentary ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
