The future always looks brighter at Christmas.

While Scarlett Ambrose works her PR magic landing Alaska on the nice Christmas spirit list, her wedding plans and a longing for Arizona’s heat have to wait.

But when the wait’s too long, will a warm-hearted doctor in town for his own reasons be just the prescription for lifting her cold, Scrooge-like spirit?

Cute, clean, quick read Christmas story. I enjoyed the main characters. They had some cute banter. Even though I’m not from a heat area like Arizona, I could feel Scarlett’s pain on the cold. I live in cold country now so I do know you acclimate after a year or so though.

I enjoyed the fact that the book was inspired by Dickens. And really the book could be a Hallmark movie quite easily. It had all the Hallmark factors. It is just a cute Christmas story but has a moral. Forgiveness is essential to ones soul. Plus, don’t be a scrooge.

    No sex, language or violence

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
