The Twickenham Time travel series has been fun to read. I’ve enjoyed all those I’ve read, which isn’t all of them, but I have read and enjoyed both by Ms. Johnson. It is rather entertaining to watch the characters that have come from a different era adapt (or not) to their surroundings and also fun to watch those around them react to how different they are. I think it was realistic that Oliver was enthralled by Eva since she is different from all the other women but also hesitant because she doesn’t really fit the mold that he would have grown up expecting.

This book was different from others I’ve read in the series because 1, it didn’t have Aunt Nellie saying “Time is a fuzzball” and 2, she isn’t always accurate in hitting the right time. (Maybe it happened in some that I haven’t read yet?)

I liked the characters and rooted for them to figure out how to make it all work. It is a sweet, clean romance that entertains.

I had a couple unanswered questions at the end but they weren’t vital to the storyline.

    No sex, language or violence
