I won a giveaway and had multiple options to choose from and chose this book because I was interested in the speech therapy aspect of the story. My daughter is just about to embark on a grad study program for speech pathology so I was intrigued to read more about it. I personally would have liked more details in the therapy that would be used in the situation of the book but I think it would have bogged down the story for other people so I guess that was okay as is.

The story isn’t deep and it is fairly predictable but I enjoyed Hailey’s sweet relationship with her grandparents. Gran is pretty over the top on her matchmaking but I enjoyed that about her. And Gramps was just a sweetie.

I think I actually enjoyed her relationship with the grandparents more than I did the romance but it was okay too. Another typical romance “I know what I feel but I’m not going to say anything and instead I will assume I know what you are thinking and feeling”. But it was cute and sweet.
