When faced with heart break or getting dumped and kicked to the curb, haven’t you ever wanted a Do Over? Forget Cinderella, that’s the fantasy everyone really wants.

What do you do when your life becomes messy and embarrassing? You tape up your broken heart, pull on your boots and start again.

But Trey is tired of women. Who wouldn’t be after falling for the wrong woman over and over again? He’s decided to take a much needed break from the fairer sex, but his vacation from women is cut short when Iris Levine tumbles into his life like a tornado on caffeine. Iris is on the mend from a broken heart as well, but decides a little walk on the wild side is the cure for her.  Trey decides to take his chances with Iris, but Sophie has decided she’ll do anything to save Trey from another broken heart.  Maggie and Allison do the best they can to help, but Iris’ parents are with Sophie.

This romance is either a disaster waiting to happen or the best fairytale since Sleeping Beauty.  It’s up to Trey and Iris to decide which.

  1. This is one of those very fun books where
the guy is SO DONE with women
and the girl is SO DONE with men
but the guy doesn’t want to be set up on anymore pity dates…
So… he asks girl-done-with-men to be in on is ploy of making everyone believe that he does like said girl so they will stop asking him to like other girls….
When if fact he really does like this girl because she doesn’t fall all over him like all the other girls and the girl is starting to like the guy because he is so unlike the other guys….

And if that is not enough of a fun storyline…on the side there is a “bet” going on to see if the so-done-with-women guy will fall for the so-done-with guys girl OR will he fall for the beauty queen that is being push towards him?

    So messy..so fun..so good!
And you just gotta love the boots!

This was such a cute & fun (& clean) story! I enjoyed seeing this series wrap up and loved the interaction of the two main characters, Trey and Iris. My two biggest complaints were that first, one of the characters from the first book (Sophie) really felt out of character here (her reaction seemed way overboard) and second, the reasoning behind a decision Trey made towards the end of the story didn’t seem to fit with his character either. But overall I really enjoyed it!

I really liked this book. I agree with a previous comment that Sophie’s behavior did seem way out of character for her, but it worked for the storyline so whatever. I also have a hard time accepting how quickly Trey and Iris fell in love, but to each their own. The author’s writing style is fabulous, regardless.

I LOVED this book. I love the tough girl persona that Iris took on in order to heal. And yet she kept her self true to herself and found new interests as well. It was interesting to see how judgements came according to appearance and that theme that reoccurred through out the book. Loved Maggie as usual and loved this series as well! A fun summer read that I have now read twice! 🙂
