This Christmas, they’re getting the gift of a little matchmaking mischief.
It’s been a tough year for Tara Harris. Her fiancé jilted her, the gossip about it refuses to go away, and she’s living with her aunt, the one who dabbles in matchmaking, aka finding random men to introduce to Tara. At least humiliation is never boring.
Luke Carrington planned to avoid the obvious setup. He even threw away the address the sweet lady at the store gave him. But fate must be playing with him because he’s here anyway, at the right place at the right time. Scratch that. Wrong place, wrong time. Tara Harris might be as beautiful, sweet, charming, and available as her aunt claims, but she’s also totally off limits to him, and he can’t ever tell her why. In fact, it’s better if he never sees her again.
But it’s a small town, and every time they run into each other, the sparks between them grow…
Rating: Mild+. Mild crude humor; mild kissing; mild sensuality.

Luke and Tara are brought together by Tara’s aunt who is determined to find someone for her niece. They are interested in each other but things get complicated as they typically do. The romance was sweet and swoony though I was surprised at how quickly the “I love yous” were said. I guess when you know, you know? If you enjoy Hallmark Christmas movies, you will like this one!
Cute little Christmas romance story. Ironies abound in their meeting but attraction can’t be dismissed. Less anyone believe that one can’t be friends with an ex I’ll tell you my grandparents were friends enough after remarrying to even vacation together. It can happen.
Luke and Tara had some fun chemistry. And Tara’s aunt is a hoot. Gotta love her and her matchmaking ways. It was fun to watch her at work. Overall enjoyable read.
