Her life is too chaotic for love. But adding more chaos is exactly what brings him—and love—in.

Tory is living her dream running her own coffee shop, Love a Latte, and raising four young kids. But her divorce left her doing it all on her own and not always succeeding. She’d consider marrying again someday– as long as the man was the complete opposite of her ex. But she really has no hope of that, because who would ever willingly step into her chaotic life?

Not only has Nate’s marriage failed, but during the entire time he was married, he’d failed at convincing his ex that they should start a family. His lack of a love life can’t be helped, but with his busy construction company and crew, he can help others plenty.

When a tree falls on Love a Latte during a lightning storm, causing extensive damage to the building, Nate steps in to help Tory rebuild. As the damaged building is being mended, can working side-by-side also mend their damaged hearts?

Rating: Mild. Mild kissing.

I really enjoy this town and loved that Tory got to find her own happy. Nate worked through relationships and I was seriously rooting for this builder to have a chance at his own future.

I loved getting to know Tory better and this town is such a great backdrop. Nate was working toward building his own future and I was thrilled he could find some happy.

I think that this might be my favorite in the series so far. It was difficult subject matter, dealing with the aftermath of what divorce might do to a family and individuals. Though I’ve not been divorced, I think it was pretty realistic. The biggest conflict in this book was the insecurities of each of the main characters. They really fought themselves. I particularly liked that Nate didn’t just make assumptions even as things appeared to be against him but fought his own demons instead of blaming Tory. I thought Tory was an incredible mother. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have the patience she had. And Nate was obviously going to be a great dad. I also think the kid spats and mishaps were realistic.

This was an enjoyable, clean, cute read.
