Arrow to His Heart  by Misty Moncur

Prize Format: Print (U.S. only) or ebook

A broken nose and two black eyes are all it takes for her vibrant young heroine to heal the heart of a scarred and lonely ex-soldier.

Silent and invisible, Kenai was the best spy in the stripling army, but all he wants to do is forget what happened during the war. Nothing feels right at home anymore. What good is being a spy among people who have no secrets? He should just slip away into the woods and go back to being invisible, but that’s hard to do when a pretty little village girl is constantly on his tail.

Isabel can’t help but notice her brother’s friend is acting strange. They say he was a brave soldier, Helaman’s most trusted spy, but men like that don’t sleep all day, refuse to eat, and avoid their friends. So Isabel does a little spy work of her own, and what she finds in the warrior’s wounded heart might just help her find what’s hidden deep inside her own.

Moncur_MistyMisty Moncur wanted to be Indiana Jones when she grew up. Instead, she became an author and has her adventures at home. In her jammies. With her imagination. And pens that she keeps running dry. Misty writes clean romance for young adults. Arrow to His Heart is book #4 in the Stripling Warrior series, which also includes Daughter of Helaman (book 1), Fight For You (book 2), and In All Places (book 3).

Bless the Child by David J. West

BlessTheChild
Prize Format: Print (U.S. only)

Impelled by a quest for redemption, the man known only as The Spartan finds unholy work in The Holy Land. And work is good, there is no end of service amongst kings and robber barons for a man who sells his sword so well. But blood won’t wash away blood and The Spartan finds himself compelled toward something greater than himself.

Come back to 586 B.C. when Jerusalem burned and the life of a prince rested in the hands of the exiled Spartan. Can a mercenary trained only for war become an instrument of peace?

West_DavidDavid J. West can’t remember a time he wasn’t writing.  From the primordial splash of a drowning Atlantis to a pair of vigilantes’ six-guns blasting raw justice in the old west. From obsidian tipped arrows raining down on Cumorah’s slopes, to crusaders’ broadswords sweeping over shadowy terrors, and on to the cold vacuum of space and the birth of a new star, David is there, recording it all for your edification and amusement.

David is donating the proceeds from Bless the Child to Hannah’s Hope Fund, the official arm of the G.A.N. Warriors, which helps children with GAN. Read more about him and his books at his website: david-j-west.blogspot.com.

RoseTinted

Prize Format: ebook

The façade is fading, questions are growing, and time is running out.

Brynn wanted to find answers about her world’s carefree existence and her own insatiable curiosity, and upon learning the truth about her planet Halcyon, Brynn’s task became simple: stop what she knew was coming. Behind the veneer of simplicity, though, nothing but complexity awaited. How could three people who were just learning to throw off the shackles of their unconscious limitations challenge an entire social order? More importantly, how could they survive the wrath of the deadly Angels who invaded Brynn’s dreams and loomed over her every waking moment?

An unexpected alliance with a small group of rebels from a place Brynn had never heard of only days before offered some hope—technology she hadn’t known existed, a hard-working person’s ability to endure, and a recklessness fueled by an icy determination she didn’t fully understand. But secrets lurked among them too, and when a betrayal from someone close to Brynn puts everyone in danger, bonds are shaken and lines are drawn. In the battle against the Angels, the only victory is survival.

Rose Tinted is the second book in the Sugar Coated Trilogy.

RippleEffect_250

Prize Format: ebook

The Ripple Effect Romance Series—a set of six clean romance novellas by six critically-acclaimed contemporary authors. And, yes! This prize includes all six novellas!

This series is different–a sort of experiment. The lives of the characters in the books are connected. The main character in the second book is introduced in a meaningful way in the first book and so on, throughout the series.

“Like a pebble tossed into calm water, a simple act can ripple outward and have a far-reaching effect on those we meet, perhaps setting a life on a different course—one filled with excitement, adventure, and sometimes even love.”

Book 1: Home Matters by Julie N. Ford
When Olivia Pembroke lands an audition for a wildly popular home improvement show, she thinks her destiny is finally within reach. But when her affections are torn between her heartthrob co-host and the irritating, yet somehow endearing lead contractor, does she continue to reach for the stars? Or does she design a new happily ever after?

Book 2: Silver Linings by Kaylee Baldwin
When Eden Toressi learns that her boyfriend’s new roommate is down on his luck, she reaches out to offer what help she can. But the more time they spend together, the more complicated things get, especially when the seniors of Silver Linings decide to play matchmaker.

Book 3: Righting a Wrong by Rachael Anderson
Cambri Blaine has no choice but to return to her hometown of Bridger, Colorado to help her ailing father. Her only hope is that Jace Sutton is no longer around and that the past can stay where it belongs—in the past. Unfortunately, life doesn’t always work that way.

Book 4: Lost and Found by Karey White
When Blake and Lydia, meet at the airport, they make a split-second decision to search for the box together. Maybe with both of them on the hunt, she can have her adventure and he can find the box. And maybe, if they’re lucky, they’ll even find some romance.

Book 5: Second Chances 101 by Donna K. Weaver
Thirty-seven-year-old Francie Davis is sure her luck has changed when she lands a job on campus that will pay her tuition. But after her handsome new boss yells at her on the first day of work, Francie learns that the last person you expect to fall in love with might be the one that’s the most perfect for you.

Book 6: Immersed by Jennifer Griffith
With her brand new MBA in hand, language expert Lisette Pannebaker starts a business doing one-on-one language immersion for wealthy clients. But she’s far too beautiful for the job and has to give herself a drastic “make-under” to keep clients at bay. It works fabulously until . . . Erik Gunnarson.
