This is a great book to get you in the Christmas spirit. They’re love stories that happen over the Christmas season, but I found them to be more than that. I think each of them show the true meaning of the spirit of Christmas. The stories take place in the Regency era but aren’t about the holidays being celebrated by the titled and elite, and each one is completely different. I couldn’t pick a favorite because I like each one for different reasons.
The individual stories are short enough that you can read one while taking a break, but the writers are still able to give enough details about the characters and make you care about them. The stories don’t feel rushed. All of these are definitely sweet, clean romances.

This story reminded me a bit of An Affair to Remember but regency style. It is a second chance romance and was very sweet once the reason for the failed elopement was exposed. I enjoyed the story.

Christmas at Canterwood by Krista Lynn Jensen
If I were to describe this story in one word it would be “delightful”. I loved the idea of the privileged children working to assist the needy and in so doing enhancing their own Christmas. And giving the Christmas play as a gift to the parents was the sweetest thing ever.

    Winter Angels by Anita Stansfield
This was a lovely story that showed the true spirit of Christmas (lived through out the year) and the goodness of Christlike people. Sweet romance.

    Christmas Grace by Chalon Linton
I think that I would have liked this one better in a longer novel version. I liked the premise of the story but think it needed more development. The idea of honoring one’s deceased spouse by continuing his tradition was lovely and I also loved the theme of hope.
