Lauren Baylor is still reeling from the loss of her husband who died while deployed in Afghanistan. Unsure if she’s even ready to date again, she is focused on trying to normalize things for her children. Her life and her holiday season become further complicated as she finds herself pursued romantically by two men wearing Santa suits.

Police sergeant Bryan Everett, drafted by his sister to play Santa for the young neighborhood widow and her two little boys, overcomes his reluctance when he meets the beautiful Lauren. In the days ahead, Bryan tries to help Lauren through her grief, hoping that someday his patience will pay off.
Meanwhile, Lauren has also caught the attention of Lloyd Owens, a divorced father with custody of his two little girls. Not to be outdone, the overzealous suitor scores a Santa suit of his own, dilapidated though it may be, and sets out to show Lauren that he can be the answer to all her problems . . . or the beginning of some new ones.

When disturbing phone calls and a home intrusion rock her world, Lauren isn‘t sure who to turn to or trust. Is Bryan a crooked cop? Or is Lloyd, the devoted father and faithful churchgoer, leading a double life? Upheaval, intrigue and unwelcome romantic attentions are not what she wanted for Christmas.
