Keturah fought her way into Helaman’s army. Now she’s in Judea building fortifications, and the only thing she’s fought so far is boredom. The work is hard, and the other soldiers don’t think she can pull her weight. Her brothers are becoming strangers, and Zeke’s jealousy is getting worse—because Keturah is falling in love with the wrong warrior.
But she’s not about to let cruel pranks and hurt feelings keep her from doing what she knows to be right. Keturah will do whatever it takes to protect her religion, her freedom, her peace, and her family. But in a camp of two thousand boys, the most important thing she has to protect is her heart.

Ryen is on a mission to Earth to find the answers to his distant world’s most critical questions. From the beginning, prophets have foretold of a mythic figure—a Savior—who would live a perfect life and ultimately die to save their souls. There was just one catch. He would be born on a different planet, far away. He would perform miracles Ryen’s people would never see. The Savior’s sacrifice, even from an incomprehensible distance, would redeem them all. But without tangible proof, the rift between the believers and nonbelievers is tearing this once peaceful planet apart.
On Earth, Ryen meets Savannah, a beautiful woman hiding a painful past. He can’t help falling in love with her. As his time runs out, Ryen must decide if he is willing to give up everything he has ever known and loved to stay on Earth with Savannah. But his decision could have very unexpected and tragic consequences. The Masters, a powerful clan of corrupt leaders, are plotting to take over Earth and Ryen’s own crumbling world as well.
Ryen didn’t ask to be a hero. But to prevent the destruction of his and Earth’s civilizations, he must sacrifice everything, even the woman he loves, to save two worlds on the edge of annihilation.

Roseanne Wilkins: I was the second oldest of 9 children, so I grew up in a house full of noisy kids. Craig grew up in a house with just 2 quiet kids. Opposites attract lol. Since I’m the one home, we filled the house with kids. I’d go crazy with silence. Craig manages the noise level by traveling all over the U.S. teaching other adults how to audit.
With 5 kids in sports, I keep busy running them to their practices and games. After hectic days running kids everywhere and taking care of three pre-schoolers, I find quiet time after everyone is in bed to write. I hope you enjoy the results 🙂 .
You can visit Roseanne at her blog, Roseanne’s Spot.
Serena knows a few simple things. She will always be owned by a warlock. She will never have freedom. She will always do what her warlock wishes, regardless of how inane, frivolous, or cruel it is. And if she doesn’t follow the rules, she will be tarnished. Spelled to be bald, inked, and barren for the rest of her life—worth less than the shadow she casts.
Then her ownership is won by a barbarian from another country. With the uncertainty that comes from belonging to a new warlock, Serena questions if being tarnished is really worse than being owned by a barbarian, and tempts fate by breaking the rules. When he looks the other way instead of punishing her, she discovers a new world. The more she ventures into the forbidden, the more she learns of love and a freedom just out of reach. Serena longs for both. But in a society where women are only ever property, hoping for more could be deadly.
