Omar Zagouri Series: Finding Sheba (book 1)
This short story immediately pulled me in — some pretty intense situations right at the beginning! However, it felt like just the tip of the iceberg – I wanted lots more. After reading it, I couldn’t remember if we were ever even told the main character’s real name, since the story was told from her point of view and she never actually gave anyone her real name. I haven’t read “Finding Sheba” yet, but I kept wondering if this story would be connected to it at all through the heroine (I do know that Omar Zagouri is the main character in “Finding Sheba”). I wanted to know more of her history, as well as more of what happened to her afterward. Such an intense, action-packed story for so few pages! I loved the glimpse into Omar’s character — I’m looking forward to learning lots more about him in “Finding Sheba.”
