She’s back in town, but he’s about to leave.
Will their fake relationship have real repercussions?

Everything in Liz Jenkins’s life is temporary, including the job at the struggling summer camp from her childhood. But she’ll turn it around like every company she’s hired to fix. In fact, her own disastrous love life seems to be the only thing she can’t turn around. She’ll just leave love to everyone else. It’s scary and uncontrollable—and Liz likes to be in control. If only the people of Silver Leaf Falls would stop trying to set her up with every available man in town.

Noah Knight is the beloved principal at Silver Leaf Falls Elementary. He loves living in his hometown, but something’s missing. He’s hoping a new job in another state will help fill the void. Other than leaving right after reconnecting with his friend Liz, the biggest downside is the PTA making it their mission to find him a wife before he moves away.

Liz just needs to focus on work without being set up and Noah needs the PTA to leave him alone. Pretending to date for the summer is the perfect solution—and since neither of them wants to fall in love, nothing could possibly go wrong, right?

Venture into Silver Leaf Falls, Vermont, and enjoy the friendships, love, and happily-ever-afters in this sweet, small town romance.

Rating: Mild. Mild kissing.

  1. 5 Stars! Absolutely adored this book!

Coming Home To Silver Leaf Falls is 100% Hallmark worthy, I was even picturing the perfect actors and actresses to play each character as I read this book. I couldn’t believe how quickly it got me hooked on the storyline, characters, and the town! I’m about ready to head over to Sizzle and Sip for a Turkey, Bacon, and Swiss panini, doesn’t that sound incredible?

There was a cute but not overbearing chemistry between Noah and Liz that gives it that sweet and swoony romance without being too “perfect”. I loved how author Meg Easton was able to capture that. This is a great beginning to a novella series and I look forward to reading more of them. Coming Home To Silver Leaf Falls had just the right amount of cute moments, laughing moments, and tear jerking times. I definately had to reach for a tissue at the end (bit don’t worry, it was all in a good way).

First, let me say that I love that the PTA thinks they should find the principal a wife. That is a great idea for a small town story. And I love that a principal is willing to do silly things as a motivation for the kids. Pretty sure that never happened for me as a kid. These added a touch of delight to the story. I liked the main characters and I always enjoy a fake relationship trope even if they are predictable. This story was a cute one and made for a enjoyable evening’s read.
