Free Spotlight Post
To get a Free Spotlight post for your novel on this site, you need to do TWO things before completing my form:
- List your book on Amazon.com. Book must be listed in at least one format (print, ebook, or audio) and available for sale or pre-order.
- Get a My Book Rating for your book. This usually takes a few days to process on their site.
As soon as these links are live, you can complete the Free Spotlight application. It’s recommended that you complete this form a month or more before your official release date, if possible. (See more details below.)
New! Add-On Packages
Once you’ve completed your Free Spotlight application, you may choose to add one or both of our optional expanded paid packages for additional promotion:
- Expanded Spotlight and Promo. This is a per tittle add-on and includes extra tags and buy links on the post, and posts to ALL Storytellers in Zion social media accounts. Cost: $5 (U.S.) per title./li>
- This is a one-time per author/pen name add-on and will appear on all your spotlights. It includes up to five additional social media links. Cost: $5 (U.S.) per author/pen name.
Free Spotlight Details
The Free Spotlight Post includes the following:
- Book cover
- Book information and description
- My Book Rating content rating designation
- Amazon Buy Button (my affiliate link)
- 5 Post Tags: release year, rating, Whitney year, plus 1-2 tags of my choice
- Author Bio Box with headshot, author name, short bio, link to author website and link to Amazon Author page (my affiliate link)
- Inclusion in Storytellers in Zion weekly newsletter (see example)
- Posted to Storytellers in Zion Pinterest account (see example)

Expanded Spotlight & Promo Details
The Expanded Spotlight Post and Promotion includes the following:
- Everything listed for the Free Spotlight, plus…
- Extra Post Tags: 2 extra tags of your choice
- More Buy links: up to 5 additional online resellers (my affiliate links, where applicable). Choose from B&N/Nook, Kobo, Apple Books, IndieBound, Deseret Book, Seagull Book, Author Website, and Other
- Expanded Promo: Includes formatted posts for Storytellers in Zion’s social media accounts: Facebook page, Facebook New Releases group, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
- You may submit the form for the Expanded Spotlight at any time after submitting the Free Spotlight Post form.
- Cost for the Expanded Spotlight is $5 per title. You will be billed via PayPal or Venmo.
