I thought this was a good story about letting go of past judgments and also how wealth does not guarantee happiness. I admit I got pretty frustrated by the heroine, Amanda, and how she so stubbornly refused to see beyond Blake’s past and let him in to her heart. I am a planner myself, so I could relate to that aspect of her personality, but I was glad to see that she finally realized how sometimes you have to just let go of your strict plans to be able to enjoy life to the fullest.
There were some faith-related elements to the story, which I appreciated, however I was a little put off by the beginning with the whole Vegas scene and drinking, etc. I thought it a little odd that Amanda had absolutely no memory at all of the Vegas wedding, yet apparently in the video she didn’t really appear drunk.
I received an e-book copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
