It’s been a while since I read the first books in this series, but this one took me right back into the lives of these characters. I enjoyed the overlap with the first book — it was interesting to see the viewpoint from one of the other characters and get all the details of what went on “behind the scenes” of events just briefly mentioned in the earlier books. I also enjoyed seeing the journey that Jori went on and the realizations and changes he made in himself.
