It was scary and exciting and intense. It had one plot twist after another. It's not only entertaining but it also helped me on my history test! I think it's better written and more intense than Twilight!

I am a senior citizen but I like to read books for youth. This one had a great message for youth about families and their importance. It had a lot of exciting moments that would appeal to young people and a perfect ending.

Apparently the first printing sold out or something. But i finally got my copy and boy was I impressed! What an exciting story, with a very believable protagonist. I think the author must have teen age boys, because she captures some real stuff. But what is most impressive are the uplifting lessons about family, honor, loyalty and respect that are simply embedded in the story. No preaching. Now I will throw it into the middle of my Grand Children and watch the fight. Great "after-the-book" entertainment.

I am a 51 year old grandma and a kid at heart. I loved, loved, loved this book! I loved the way it was written and the story line. I loved the message of love of family and loyalty that it leaves you with. I have recommended it to all my family and would love to read other books from this same author. Thank you for such a great book.
