    This was the first Clair M. Poulson book I’ve read (listened to, in this case) and I felt that much of the story seemed contrived, predictable and “cheesy” to me. Overall I enjoyed the characters and I was interested to see how it all ended, but lots of things along the way had me shaking my head.
