Money can’t buy a good first impression.

Seventeen-year-old Caymen Meyers learned early that the rich are not to be trusted. And after years of studying them from behind the cash register of her mom’s porcelain-doll shop, she has seen nothing to prove otherwise.

Enter Xander Spence—he’s tall, handsome, and oozing rich. Despite his charming ways and the fact that he seems to be one of the first people who actually gets her, she’s smart enough to know his interest won’t last. Because if there’s one thing she’s learned from her mother’s warnings, it’s that the rich have a short attention span.

But just when Xander’s loyalty and attentiveness are about to convince Caymen that being rich isn’t a character flaw, she finds out that money is a much bigger part of their relationship than she’d ever realized. With so many obstacles standing in their way, can she close the distance between them?

  1. I really enjoyed this one. I loved Kasie’s first book Pivot Point and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. I thought the story was well written and had an interesting plot. I loved the characters and thought they were well developed. My only complaint is that I had a few unanswered questions at the end, is this a stand alone? I kind of hope there is a companion novel so we can get more of their story. Overall, a fun read!

Some might say it’s not very realistic and the ending ties up too neatly, but this is the kind of story that just leaves me with a big smile on my face. Great characters (although I have some issues with the mom), great humor and a sweet, clean romance!

I loved this one! 5 stars! Great characters, great voice. Liked the plot. Funny and believable dialog. Sweet. Clean. Loved the doll shop setting. It has everything I look for in a good YA romance.
